The space
Set right in the heart of the New Forest, this tastefully converted barn provides the ideal opportunity for a relaxing weekend away in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Sleeping 2 people, the barn boasts a mezzanine with double bed, lounge with double corner sofa, a kitchenette and bathroom with walk in shower. On arrival guests are provided with a breakfast basket and milk in the fridge.

Beautiful and tranquil, Allum Green is a tiny hamlet in the middle of the forest just outside the village of Lyndhurst. It is within easy reach of all areas of the New Forest National Park, including all activities and areas of interest.

There are some lovely walks right outside the front door, as well as 2 pubs within walking distance through the forest - The Oak Inn & The New Forest Inn.

We are also positioned very close to the coast, so that a short 20 minute drive can take you to several of the south coast's lovely beaches, harbours and coastal walks.

During your stay

We are a local retired doctor and nurse with one small dog called Max. The barn is located in a corner of our garden, easily accessible directly from the driveway. We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the forest in a secluded country hamlet and thoroughly enjoy being able to share this unique location with our guests. We are always happy to provide you with recommendations on activities and places to go. Guests are given our numbers and also have access to knock on our door should you have any issues or questions.
