The location is ideally located for anyone looking to explore the South-East. The historic cities of Waterford and Kilkenny are 45 minutes to the East and North respectively. The towns of Cashel and Cahir are situated to the west over the mountains and are home to two of Ireland's most famous castles.

We live in a beautiful part of Tipperary near Sliebh Ná Mon, the Mountain of the Women, 15 mns from the town of Carrick on Suir. We have a self catering granny flat across the yard from our house with its own bathroom and basic kitchen, so it's handy for visitors. We are conveniently located 1 mile off the main Kilkenny (35kms) - Clonmel (23kms) road. We have two dogs Ali and Terry and two friendly and independent cats. I am a textile artist and an arts project manager and facilitator and my husband works as an events manager and advisor for arts and festivals. We often travel for work, so visitors might only see us fleetingly, hence the more independant you are, the better.
When we are at home, we like good food and to share meals, wine and conversation with friends, guests and visitors. We have a garden that produces a good bit of our food and thus we try to 'tread softly' on this fragile Earth of ours.
