Unplug. Unwind. Connect with nature. Come enjoy our 700 sq.ft. cabin on 6 wooded acres. Fish the trout stream, hike, bike, swim! See hummingbirds hover at the feeders, watch for deer or bald eagles. The outdoor recreational opportunities are endless. Listen to the wind whisper while you sway in the hammock. Escape to the peaceful pines and let the whippoorwills sing you to sleep at day's end.

The space
The cabin has one bedroom on the main level and a loft above. Each room has a queen size bed. Indoor plumbing. Full size stove, refrigerator and a small microwave in a small kitchen. In cold weather, warm yourself by the wood burning stove or simply adjust the thermostat if you prefer.

Our cabin is in a remote area, if you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a slower, quieter pace, this is the place. Our neighbors are few and far between.
Outdoor recreation is top on the list of things to do. We're surrounded by several lakes and the Wisconsin River, perfect for fishing or pleasure boating. State wildlife areas are abundant with hiking trails, wildlife viewing areas and recreational areas. If rock climbing is your thing, there's a great rock face just minutes from the cabin which is great for all ability levels.
Necedah National Wildlife Refuge is a short drive but worth the time. Lots of public hunting grounds in the area. Hunters are welcome!

Adams County has 23 public access lakes and we are convenient to several of them. The Petenwell Flowage has multiple ramps with the nearest 12 miles away. Big Roche-A-Cri Lake's launch is 10 miles away.

I'm an outgoing, out-door loving Wisconsin native who was lured to Nashville by my husband. Since I'm a Northern girl at heart, I couldn't stand to sell my cabin! It's been a refuge for my family and me since we purchased it in 2006. This is my home away from home, the place where stress melts off of me the second I pull into the driveway and smell the familiar scent of pine, and the place where I hope to spend summers with my family (again) after I retire.
