Art Church is a re-purposed/desanctified 148year old Presbyterian Church. It was last used as a church in 1969. In 2012, the historical society sold it to Malvern native artist, Zack Jones. Zack originally lived and worked in the downstairs studio which is now the Airbnb. Today ZJ Paintings studio has moved upstairs where he works during the daylight hours. Zack encourages guests to visit the upstairs but understand it is not part of the Airbnb rental.

The space
The Airbnb is the downstairs portion of the church. You will be surrounded by original oil paintings and eclectic art. There is full surround sound hooked up to iPod/pandora for your use. The bedroom has a king size bed with 1/2 bath. There is a queen size Murphy bed in the main area and a futon. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. There is no full sized oven but there is a toaster/convection oven that works well for modest cooking such as pizza, medium sized casserole dish, wings, etc.
The Art Church is chill atmosphere and within walking distance to Malvern Businesses and the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. 1/2 a block away is the Saturday Concert Series June-Aug 6-9p.

I'm a small town advocate that relocated from Cave Creek Arizona in 2006. Since then I've organized art shows, concerts, and a seasonal farmer's market. I'm also a Wabash Nature Trail advocate. I work towards creating a destination and see the arts and recreation as an avenue. Visitors staying @ Project Art Church reinforce this idea.

During your stay

The downstairs Airbnb entrance has a keypad entrance. It is also used for locking the door. No need for a key. Texting or messaging me a general arrival time is nice for cleaning purposes. I live close to the church and also have family near that is available with any problem that might occur.
