Welcome to SCENIC RIDGE!

Our 2 bedroom quality guest accommodation is connected to but separate from your hosts upstairs. If booking just 1 room you will have the WHOLE apartment as we do not lease by individual rooms.

Comprising 2 Queen size beds with quality furnishings and linen, a stunning new bathroom, combined dining and lounge room with heat pump, a large flat screen TV, Sky TV, CD Player, DVD, complimentary Wi-Fi and internet access.

The bedrooms and lounge have bifold doors which open onto your own deck allowing you to fully appreciate the western views. During the summer evenings, the sunsets can be spectacular.

The room rate includes, complimentary tea and coffee and is for single/double occupancy in ONE bedroom, with an extra charge per person, for the second bedroom. Please enquire with your hosts.

All quality linen is provided.

A washing machine is available if staying for more than 2 nights - please enquire.

Check in time is 2.00pm and check out time is 10.00am. We may be flexible on arrival time - please enquire.

No events, functions or gatherings please. Our accommodation is for booked guests only.

We are a handy location for local wedding and conference venues in the Kumeu, Bethells, Waitakere and Henderson areas.

The Kumeu vineyard district is only a 10-15 minute drive. Kumeu River Wines, Matua Valley, Coopers Creek, West Brook, Kerr Farm, Soljans, to name a few of the fantastic local vineyards located near our property.

We are keen golfers and are happy to enjoy a round of golf with you if you wish. You will not find a more beautiful (but challenging) golf course than Waitakere GC which is a 5 minute drive as is Redwood GC. Numerous golf courses within a 12-25 minute drive include Huapai, Muriwai, Helensville, North Shore, Pupuke and one of Auckland's finest, Titirangi Golf Course. We have spare golf clubs available if required.

Waitakere Ranges is renowned for its stunning west coast surf beaches, Bethells (a 12 minute drive), Muriwai, Karekare and Piha.

Other local attractions include Cascades Kauri Park, 200km of amazing walking tracks and Auckland's newest shopping area, Northwest Shopping Precinct (a 15 minute drive) which also has many fabulous restaurants and eateries.

We are a fun loving couple who enjoy entertaining, especially at our home as we have fantastic views and it's great having a BBQ with friends on our deck overlooking Auckland city. We are fortunate to be able to watch a sunrise most days and some stunning sunsets for half of the year.
We live with our furry friend Levi, a friendly 8 year old staffy/border collie cross.
We are members at local golf clubs, Waitakere and Huapai, and enjoy going away on golfing trips around NZ with friends.
Watching the rugby at our house is just a given!
Avid travellers although Fiji is our second home as we have spent alot of holidays at a timeshare that we belong to.
LOVE good food and good wine.
