Samawati Conservancy Cottages built in the year 2005, has 3 Standard units standing on 20acres of well-manicured ground dotted with artisticaly trimmed acacia trees among other indigenous and exotic beautiful plants. Each holiday cottage sleeps 4-5 people and offers excellent Lake self catering accommodation. Well equipped accomodation with a kitchenette, Hot shower, Firewood place.

Lake Ol'bolossat is one of the IBA (IMPORTANT BIRD AREAS) in Kenya rated as the 61st, bird lovers would adversely enjoy their stay here. Lake Ol' Bolossat, the only natural lake in Central Province, Kenya. It is rated as the 61st Important Bird Area(IBA) holding a wealth of 180 bird species, making it an ideal destination for bird watchers.The lake is located to the west of the Aberdare ranges, backed by the magnificent escarpment of Oldonyo Satima rising up above the lake.
