The space
Hi there, my name is Steve and I am one of the owners of the Dragon Barn, and I also renovated the property with help from my friends. The name of the property came from the roof, because the old rounded slate tiles resemble dragon scales. So we made a dragons head out of zinc and placed it overlooking the mountains.

Ascou is a quiet, mountain village at 1000metres altitude and the views are incredible. Opposite the village you can see the slopes of Ax 3 Doamines, one of the Pyrenees premier ski resorts. The Dragon Barn is situated on one the GR route, so there are beautiful walks in every direction.

My trade for years has been traditional / eco builder but now I work (and travel the world) with a 50 tonne metal fire breathing Spider...buts that’s another story!
