One of the only modern build outs within the old city. However, the building does an amazing job of maintaining the charm of the local architecture. Our one-bedroom condo is spacious, safe, & conveniently located in the heart of the the old city. Recently updated fiber-optic internet (30mbps).

*COVID19: No added guests allowed at any time, per building management policy. We follow strict cleaning protocols to ensure safety, including prior ventilation & sanitization of all surfaces.

The space
This recently refurnished condo sits in the heart of the Old City. Steps away from some of the best restaurants in Cartagena like Juan Del Mar and the Santa Clara Hotel and across the street from the brand new upscale mall (La Serrezuela), be enchanted by the historic Cartagena streets or take a 10 minute walk over to the beach.

The condo comes equipped with a full kitchen and luckily enough a grocery store only two blocks away. Also enjoy the patio (great for eating outside after making a nice breakfast!) and the two rooftop pools available (open daily from 8 AM to 8PM.)

The condo has a large L-shaped couch, a master bedroom that includes a king size bed and pullout trundle bed, 3 washer/dryer rooms in the building, all kitchen appliances and utensils, a full bathroom and half bathroom, a dining table, outdoor dining table and plenty of closet space.

The condo is one block away from the one of the most historic plazas in the old city, plaza San Diego. There are local bars and restaurants and nightlife to be had all around and it is a wonderful area to walk and explore in.

Mall - Centro Comercial La Serrezuela:
This is a newly opened up mall one block from the condo, which has everything from stores and restaurants to coffee shops and ATMs. The rooftop is also a beautiful place to get a coffee at Juan Valdez and sit on the outdoor patio overlooking the old city.

Restaurant-type places:

Juan Del Mar:
The most famous fish place in Cartagena is next door, but the pizza place is dope. Both owned by the same guy. The fish is amazing. They have really good live music. Everything about it is exquisitely prepared.

They also own the pizza restaurant directly next to Juan Del Mar, Juan de Mar Pizzeria Gourmet.

Mila Vargas Cafe:
Cafe with delicious desserts and coffee.

If you go to a grocery store, go to Éxito San Diego.
Location: in the old city (just walk out the front door to the right, walk two blocks, take another right, and the grocery store will be right there.)

Dancing and night time spots:

Fidel Salsa Club:
This is an awesome local dance place. It doesn't get more local than this hole in the wall. Nice outdoor seating as well in the plaza.

Café del Mar:
Great spot overlooking the city walls. Sometimes great live music as well, but generally just a cool vibe.

Townhouse Boutique Hotel:
Cool rooftop bar at this hotel.

Alquimico Bar:
Multi-level bar with great ambiance.

Eivissa Cartagena:
Rooftop nightclub in the old city.

Other:

If you want to buy a nice Colombian linen shirt or two, the best store is Jon Sonen. $50 for a really high quality linen shirt - this is where I buy clothes for my sons if they ever need one.

If you want to set up any excursions/day trips (i.e. going to the islands off the coast on boat, etc), let us know and we can put you in contact with a friend who is a tour guide and driver by profession. He works in the hospitality industry and know all the ins and outs of cool stuff to do.
