The space
For Wacken-Open-Air, we rent the rooms of the house and the corresponding barn with cozy apartment individually - flat rate for 4 nights (Wed-Sun or Thu-Mo) at the total price per person in double room of 95 €+ 15 €for Renig.+ heating

is a former restyard, which we acquired about 35 years ago as a ruin and gave all our imagination and energy into the expansion.
There are 2 apartments in the house.
The lower apartment is currently firmly rented.

is a private apartment. There is so much space there that we would like to share the most beautiful rooms with guests, otherwise they often remain unused. You can imagine the two rooms for rent as a loft. They stretch over 2 floors - down the open living room and up a narrow staircase you go directly into the huge bedroom with the cozy sloping ceilings ... here you feel like you're in a big tent. Both rooms have names - the living room is the SALONI, the bedroom is called BABAJAGA. In the saloni there is a cozy fireplace that may be used by guests in the cool season.
The room has a breakfast corner with kettle and
a small fridge.

the GROUND FLOOR corridor
and bathroom with toilet/shower/bathtub on the ground floor are shared with guests - as is the corridor on the upper floor.

The farm is located 2 km from the village of Schafstedt between meadows, fields, bogs and ancient trees in a secluded location. The neighbouring farm is about 500m away and can be reached in a few minutes via a dirt road. It's an old mill and the owners offer therapeutic riding.
In 5 minutes you will be by car at the North Baltic Canal, where you can see wonderfully large ships, or get coffee and cake in THE Canal 33. In the village of Schafstedt you will also find the Kerzenhof - a delightful farm café with a lot of nostalgic CHARM.

We have created here a wild-romantic place of peace, meditation
and joie de vivre. Artists and creative people feel inspired in many ways.
There is a courtyard (the former cowshed), a 100-year-old barn with apartment for 6-8 people, a wooden summer house for 2 people and a stage with covered seating. Several music events have already taken place here.

can be used by appointment for breakfast or an evening. For family and friends meetings or other small events, the stage can also be booked

I live on a former home. Resthof, surrounded by meadows, fields, moors and ancient trees on a 7000 sqm natural property - 2 km away from the village of Schafstedt. The former farm has 2 apartments and 2 private rooms that are also rented out in an emergency.
We maintain easy neighborhood contact with the neighbors from the Reiterhof 500 m away and other courtyards.
Almost half a lifetime we have built around the house - a former ruin - if the narrow financial resources have allowed it. I was able to fully experience my design skills, as my greatest interest has always been in both interior and exterior design.
I love to create new places in the house and on the 7000 square meter property... wildly romantic places that you don't see how much care they need. There is really a lot to do here all year round, so not to be overgrown by nature, as with Sleeping Beauty. In between, I enjoy visiting, looking at and enjoying the many places in the garden - alone or with friends and guests.
When I have time, I like to paint, read or drive with friends as often as possible to the North and Baltic Sea for swimming, hiking and dining. Popular destinations are: Hennestrand on the west coast of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Greek Islands, Tuscany and Cornwall - but also Marrokko, for example. I prefer to travel authentically - No hotels, but prefer a summer house where I can move around like home. I have also stayed in monasteries and in Hennestrand I like to live in a small, very old youth hostel, where you are welcomed, like with friends and always meet very nice and interesting people.
I enjoy having guests with me and my contact with them is friendly. Every now and then - if it suits - it can happen that I also sit with the guests over coffee+cakes or with wine, and we talk about God and the world and also about very personal topics. There have also been joint cooking activities or mutual invitations... but only if it's right for everyone.
There are many things I can be passionate about and sometimes I want too much or too perfect in the abundance of feelings... Fortunately, I always remember my motto - it is:
