My chalets are on land surrounded by trees, wild flowers, and wildlife. A 5min walk into the town centre and under 15min walk to the beach. The train station is also only 5mins away. If you are driving then this is the perfect spot for Dunnet head, the most northerly point of the UK, puffin cove, a beautiful isolated spot to sit by the sea and watch the birds, the historic town of wick, and of course Jon o groats. Thurso is on the NC500.

The space
My place feels like it's in the middle of the countryside while being only a short walk from the town centre. Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, and fridge. There is a smart TV, free Internet with speeds in the region of 50mbps. The site is ever evolving, for now it is mostly wildflowers and trees, there are bats at night and a huge variety of birds in the day, even the occasional deer wanders onto site. there are only 3 cabins so you won't be surrounded by loads of people, but there is a firepit so you can sit out in the evening and maybe make some new friends.

Thurso has quite a few pubs and a few great places to eat. there is a beautiful beach and a river path to walk along. the area is full of wildlife, seals, whales, bats, otters, a huge variety of birds and so much more. There are surfing competitions in the winter. Great spots for fishing. I love photography and there are so many opportunities to explore with your camera up here, I'd be happy to show you the best places.
