From the shore of Silver Lake, you'll watch ospreys, bald eagles & herons fish right from your doorstep: you may even get a visit from an otter or a beaver! Launch a kayak, paddle board, canoe or small boat right from the property, or take advantage of Silver Lake's world-class bass fishing.

You'll glamp in style with all the amenities: A/C, WIFI, gas stove, microwave, & stocked kitchenette, with coffee maker. Cozy up by the fire pit and roast marshmallows under the stars. Small BBQ provided.

The space
Situated lakefront on an expansive property with a fire pit, and small boat launch, the interior is outfitted with 1 queen bed, and 1 convertible dinette that sleeps 2 smaller kids comfortably. If you have older children, a cot can be provided. The pop-out dinette area allows for an expansive interior space. Tandem and single kayaks (plus paddles & life vests) are available on-site for an additional small daily fee.

Sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 kids, due to the sizes of the beds: unfortunately, 4 adults won't fit.

Where you’ll be

Silver Lake, Washington, United States

In addition to everything the lake has to offer, Silver Lake is an excellent jumping off point for a wide range of activities: it's a 45 minute drive to Mt. St. Helen's Johnston Ridge Observatory, and a short, 7 mile drive to Seaquest State Park which offers hiking and several playgrounds. For a shorter adventure, try the Mt. St. Helen's Visitor Center, which includes a small visitor center, and features a beautiful wetland nature walk that hosts a variety of native wildlife. Nearby Harry Gardner Park offers river floating opportunities and a playground. Within walking distance, you'll find Streeter's Resort, where you can get ice cream, S'mores supplies, or pick up grocery essentials.

Hello! I grew up in SW Washington and love the Pacific Northwest--especially a beautiful day on the water, whether it be a slow, peaceful kayak paddle, or a full-throttle jet ski ride! I work in the retail and exhibit design industry, and love applying my skills to DIY projects. My most recent challenge: renovating a 1960s A-frame that had been abandoned for nearly 15 years!

During your stay

We are typically home at the A-frame on the adjacent property. We are very friendly people and will make ourselves available to answer questions, but will give you your own space.
