Will I be crazy? Boh? A lot of people who know me say that. It's so much simpler, I know I'm going to be on the ground for a very limited time, and I try to do it in tune with my feeling. In this situation, I have used the result of an entire existence to create an accommodation structure that could be a place of convivial peace for those who are:

A) They feel it is necessary to maintain a balanced relationship with the environment.
B) they think Leopardi is more interesting than Novella 2000
C) They believe that the most human way to interact is with conversations.
In the JOYFUL HERMITAGE, overlooking the Via Francigena in the village of Previdè, the municipality of Pontremoli in Lunigiana, we only used low ecological natural construction elements. The stones have been recycled on site. The floors were built by using handmade terracotta tiles in Italy (so with the certainty of a work exercised in a context of legality, foreigner to exploit or, even worse, to be used by minors) and planks made of national chestnut wood.
For the plaster, some techniques from the past have been reclaimed, now rediscovered in the bioedile field. So, instead of the concrete, for its healthiness, it was used as a calf. Likewise, the colors used to paint are the result of savvy mixes, in which the colorful colors present in nature are added to the lime, unrelated to any chemical manipulation. In some spaces, we used a floor and straw paint while others used bees.
Lighting is provided only by LED lighting, energy saving, while hot water and heating are obtained through the most renewable energy sources: wood. Furniture is banned from the formaldeide. All in solid wood, they are the result of transhumanity among the various restaurateurs of Tuscany. In the event, there are also the ultra-century marble sinks and the stone tub in the tasting room. A few thousands of books and a few hundred bottles of wine will allow guests not to get bored. Guests who, if they don't have their palate yet disidentified by the multi-nationals of food, can have breakfast drinking a variety of products (honey, jams, cheeses, cold cuts, etc.) that many small quality producers, God bless them, continue to assure us, with great sacrifices and poor income.
