This beautiful and luxurious one bedroom apartment is located on the top floor of The Old Bakery in Eton High Street. Launched in June 2022 after being renovated to a high standard, retaining stunning original features whilst incorporating modern luxuries to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.

The property is owned and profesionally run by our interior design and build company which means we maintain it to a very high standard.

The space
Situated in the centre of historic Eton, this property is a five minute walk from the banks of the River Thames and the pedestrian bridge to the prestigious town of Windsor. The Apartment oozes elegance. Designer interiors and finishes lend a luxurious feel to this high-ceilinged airy space.

The apartment offers a spacious bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a superking size bed. In the living room there are large windows, an L- shaped sofa (which can be made up as a sofa bed for an extra £25 charge) dining table and and an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen. Off the entrance hall is the bathroom with feature fireplace and underfloor heating for the cooler months.

Luxuries include waffle robes hanging in the wardrobe; high quality bed linen; bathroom essentials including shampoo and showergel; Nespresso machine; and free WiFi.

We can accomodate 2 children or an extra adult on the Living room sofa bed with advance warning and a charge of £25 per night.

Eton High Street is the secret jewel in the Crown of Windsor. Many tourists never cross the bridge which makes it just a five minute walk from Windsor's riverside. The High Street is lined with quaint antique shops and art galleries mixed with independent coffee shops and restaurants. Eton College itself is open to visitors and worth a look and of course just across the river is Windsor Castle and the famous Long Walk. Windsor offers great shopping, eating and drinking opportunities. Near the bridge there are boat trips for 40 minutes or two hours giving you a unique perspective on the two towns. The open top bus tour is a great way to see the area and even takes you out to the Royal Windsor Farm Shop where you can alight for lunch or a coffee.

Windsor Racecourse is easily reached by car or boat and holds various race days and events during the year. In May the Windsor Horse Show brings lovers of the outdoors from all over the world to the town. In June the racing at Ascot steps up and we are perfectly placed as a base for visits to Ascot Week. In July Windsor hosts The Royal Horticultural Show in the grounds of Windsor Castle and at the other end of the year Christmas is a magical time in Eton and Windsor with stunning lights and decorations and various events including the brilliant pantomime at The Royal Windsor Theatre. The theatre is host to many touring plays and musicals and is really worth a visit and again is easily walkable from the property.

Further afield is the infamous Cliveden Estate where you can enjoy the National Trust grounds and take afternoon tea in the hotel. And for foodies we have the town of Bray a 15 minute drive away hosting Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck and HindsHead restaurants as well as the Roux Family's Waterside Inn and Gian Carlo Caldesi's Caldesi en Campagna.

My husband and I run a property design and development company with projects largely in West London. Our office is in Eton as we live in Windsor and like to drop the kids to school and walk to the office. We have three children and spend a lot of our time at our home from home in Mallorca sunning ourselves and enjoying the sea. I have very high standards and like to present our Airbnb property like a large hotel suite.
