In Surfside, you step back in time. A single road leads in and out of town without a skyscraper or large hotel chain in sight. This beach town offers outdoor fun such as jet skiing, fishing, shell collecting, crabbing, and surfing.

The slow pace in Surfside allows you to relax and embrace the simpler pleasures of spending time together.

☆ It would be a good idea to bring some of the following items: Bug Spray; Sun Tan Lotion; Bottled Water; Charcoal Briquettes if you plan to BBQ; Beach umbrella; beach towels; cooler; etc.

☆ Visit Surfside Jetty Park to fish or to enjoy the playground and water park!

☆ As the sun sets and eyes grow weak, be aware of your surroundings when outside… meaning there are plenty of birds, frogs, crabs, and snakes abound so don’t fret.

☆ Plenty of Shops in Lake Jackson – ONLY 15 Minutes Away - Wal-Mart, HEB, Ross, Academy Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Starbucks, Shipley Do-Nuts, and lots of Fast Food and Chain Restaurants.

☆ Driving and daytime parking is allowed on this beach with a Surfside permit, but no overnight camping or fireworks is permitted.

☆ No glass is allowed on the beach.

☆ Please remove all trash from the beach and help us keep Surfside clean!
