The space
Decorated and furnished with antiques, and designed with a thoughtful eye and guidance from a local interior designer specifically to create a welcoming and one-of-a-kind atmosphere for everybody who gets the chance to spend time here.
The chef’s kitchen overlooks the living space, allowing for meal prep while staying connected with the group. There are multiple outdoor spaces to gather or relax: a large covered deck with a gas grill, a screened-in patio connecting to the lounge, and a private screened deck off the primary bedroom.
The house has beds for twelve guests (two are roll aways). A deep soaking tub with jacuzzi in the primary bathroom allows for pampering at the end of the day.
Downstairs is a rec room with a flat screen TV, fireplace, foosball table and darts. A second fridge and freezer downstairs ensures you’ll have plenty of space to store food and drinks.
For the adventurous and skilled swimmers, directly below the house is a swimming hole on the creek. A short two minute walk from the property takes you to the public beach on Rock Dam Lake, a spring-fed body of water that stays clear and cool all summer. Don’t feel like cooking or want a cold drink? Walk to Cal’s and grab a burger and a beer. Hundreds of miles of hiking and ATV trails are directly accessible from the house.
