During your stay

However during your stay your host Ali will be with you every day. He arrives in the morning 8’ish and departs in the evening. He will help with the following;
Clean the kitchen and dishes.
Clean the grounds, toilet, and shower area.
He loves cooking but is still an apprentice, he can cook most seafood which he can help you purchase from the fishermen on the beach. Fish goes for 5,000-8,000 tsh per kg, Octopus 5,000-7,000 tsh per kg. Lobster about 15,000-20,000 tsh per kg.
Ali is good at baking fresh bread. He will let you know what ingredients he needs and some charcoal for the fire.
Ali will bring ice every day to keep your food and drinks cool in the cooler.
Ali can bring items from Mwera village such as eggs, milk, flour, rice, potatoes, cooking oil. You can also get him to bring fresh chapatis and vitambua (rice cakes) from the village in the mornings. Produce is limited but you can get tomatoes, onions, cabbage, green peppers, carrots, lemons and seasonally oranges, mangoes, pineapple and bananas.
Ali can re-charge the power bank when needed.
A night guard (Askari) will come to the tree in the evening and leave in the morning to ensure your safety.
