Our property is a fully renovated cabin near Houston County Lake in a quiet and peaceful lakefront neighborhood. The gorgeous property is 4+ acres with beautiful soaring pines, fun outdoor amenities and an easy walk to the lake. Inside you will find a comfortable and beautifully decorated interior with all the convenience and amenities you need for a fantastic stay. The cabin is versatile for both larger groups up to 6 (+baby/toddler) or a couple. This little gem is a slice of heaven!

The space
The property is 4+ acres of rolling scenic fields and soaring pines. The outdoor space has a huge fire pit area, picnic table, patio w/ outdoor dining and grill. In addition, we have a super fun tire swing and horse shoe pits!

Inside we can sleep 6 with three bedrooms (extra bedroom available for baby or toddler with pack n' play) and 2.5 baths.

There is plenty of bathroom space with two large walk in showers. Guests are provided with travel size shampoo and shower gel in addition to emergency toiletry products in case they forget something.

There is a cozy front living room with a wood burning fireplace and a family room with a huge TV and foosball table - perfect for family fun and hanging out!

The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything you need including a coffee bar, Texas-shaped waffle maker, slow cooker and electric kettle.

We are an infant and child friendly property so we can accommodate families just like ours! We provide a pack n' play, highchair, bib, sippy cups and toddler utensils. We also have kids toys and books.

Our property is located in Tejas Shores, a lake front neighborhood on Houston County Lake. It is a 10min walk to the waterfront park with playground, swimming and docks. 3 minute drive to public boat launch. 15 minute drive to Crockett to get gas, groceries, restaurants, etc.

Local attractions include the Grapeland Animal Safari, Davy Crockett National Forest, Texas State Railroad in Palestine, fishing on the lake with professional guides and nearby hunting ranches.
