The space
A mid terraced Edwardian home on a stretch of terraced houses with no other property overlooking the front or rear. Steps to the front of the property and flat at the back with off street parking. Fenced yarden (yard and garden) and garden with seating area in both.

High ceilings and original wooden floors gives the home a country feel to the property. Very steep stairs with handrails on both sides leads to the upper floor with one single bedroom and a double bedroom with wardrobe and bedside cabinet. The large bathroom has the original cast iron roll top bath which is a great feature to the home.

Each rooms proudly displays the work of the owner Diane, an environmental textile artist who is passionate about saving beautiful fabric from the landfill and creating functional and decorative art.

Please be aware that the house can feel a little slanted as it has had subsidence in the past as Crofton and Sharlston (next village) we’re mining villages.

Hello, I am Diane an environmental textile artist who is passionate about saving beautiful fabric from the landfill. I recently decided to leave my full time job as a Parent Support Adviser safeguarding children and focus on my upcycling textile art business. Sharing my home with guests gives me the opportunity to be free to travel around in my campervan with my 3 dogs (2 cockapoos and a border collie) and visit places in the UK to get more inspiration for my art.
