Lild Strand is an area in northern Thy. The area is like a pearl north of the Limfjord - between Hanstholm and Blokhus - and is surrounded by magnificent and wild nature on all sides.

Lild Strand is a holiday home area which, unlike the larger holiday towns in the area, is not overrun by tourists - here is quiet and you can enjoy the magnificent nature to the fullest.

1 hour walking distance from the house is Bulbjerg Fuglefjeld. Bulbjerg is Jutland's only rock, and the area is also called "Jutland's shoulder". The cliff is also the mainland's only bird mountain besides those found on Bornholm. If the weather is clear, you can see both Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse and Hanstholm from the top of the cliff.

In addition to providing stunning views of the North Sea, the limestone cliff is also home to a host of bird species; among other things, 500 pairs of riders (the world's most common gull species), gannets, grouse, puffins and mallards, which have been tried to breed.
