We are in Ortigosa, in the middle of nature. Very close to Logroño and Wine cellars. Ideal for city break, breakfast included, room with two beds, with antique family furniture. Fireplace in the living room and 3 shared bathrooms.

The space
The stately house of 450m², with a terrace of 40m,where you can rest and enjoy the sun. Rehabilitated while maintaining original features. La Rioja is a strategic place to move anywhere from Spain. You can enjoy peace in a very little known, but spectacular environment, I assure you it did not disappoint you. Amazing oak, beech and pine forests. And wild animals such as roe deer, deer, eagles, vultures and wild boars. When you wake up, a breakfast with typical local products awaits you (homemade cake, bread and jams, virgin olive oil, natural orange juice, coffee or infusions)

In 2006 I decided to leave the beautiful city of Barcelona, to be able to live in a rural and mountain environment. So overnight, I picked up my things and went to Ortigosa de Cameros. In 2018 we followed our path and we have created our artisan Roca de Cabra cheese shop, which is self-managed with solar panels, windmill, rain water collection. You can taste our cheeses at breakfast. Even if your visit coincides with a production, you can come with us to make our cheeses. And by the end of last year we also have our own herd of goats, to make our cheese.

During your stay

We live in the house, but we want to share dinners and talk at night. We are waiting for you with a typical dinner: fried eggs, potatoes, serrano ham, bread with tomato and other sausages from the area. And a good wine.
