A tiny, charming casita, private bath, separate entrance, w/red concrete floors, coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, large cactus garden, mature trees, Internet via Ethernet + USB adapter, Netflix, TV, space heater, ac, located just a very short drive to Shopping, Restaurants, Yoga, Rillito River Bike Path, University of Arizona, Tucson Gem Show, 4th Avenue, and Downtown Tucson, and foothills hiking. Desert Gardens and Private Entrance = Bliss:)

The space
We offer a tiny, charming studio casita/room/private bath/separate entrance/ attached to a 1948 Adobe style home located a short distance to the University of Arizona (2 miles), Downtown (4 miles) and the 4th Avenue shopping district. This attached casita is small and very private. It has a quality queen bed with a memory foam topper and beautiful natural light. The bathroom is larger with a bright skylight. Main sleeping room is quite tiny, but cozy, warm and inviting. The red concrete floors add an Old Tucson charm. There is a private outdoor patio area with lots of rustling Bamboo, desert trees, desert plants, and a small bistro table and chairs. It’s a great space for relaxing and enjoying the sunny mornings. Room amenities include microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, TV, Netflix, etc. (Internet is VERY fast via Ethernet cable+USB adapter for your laptop.) A large, shared yard, desert cactus garden, displaying giant cactus species and a canopy of trees accompanies the main house for guests to enjoy. A beautiful, old, wooden barn sits on the property as well. This is a dog friendly neighborhood. Just one minute away from the Casita is a dog park and the Rillito River Walk/Bike path.

Where you’ll be

Tucson, Arizona, United States

The neighborhood is very central and in a well established, residential area. There is a nice park just up the street for dog/people walking. :) At the Casita the neighborhood is dog friendly. ( My kind neighbor has two very friendly dogs that sometimes come over to visit and play.) Just a short distance away (1.5 miles from casita) is the "Campbell Corridor" where you will find Campbell Ave with lots of shopping, restaurants, natural and conventional grocery stores as well as a Trader Joe's to choose from. This is a very popular area to have lunch, go to a yoga class, or enjoy one of the many coffee shops. Not far from there is Downtown Tucson (3.75 miles from casita) and the 4th Ave district near the University of Arizona. This is a dog friendly neighborhood.
