The Desert Ark LLC is a unique stay for nature lovers and adventurers. This private studio has a sleeping loft & downstairs sofa bed with skylights, laundry, kitchenette, & private half bath. There is a private outdoor shower, and one also available in the main house.

We are a working art studio near the Ojito Wilderness, Jemez Springs, and San Ysidro Bike Trials - just outside of Rio Rancho. Pet friendly, peaceful, and fully fenced property with trailer and RV parking.

The space
The Loft is a small studio with transitional space to serve all your needs, simply. The upstairs is perfect for quiet activities, while the downstairs has a convertible sofa and coffee table for sleeping, working, or eating. There's a half bath, a bistro table for two, and a kitchenette for cooking.

This is a remote and lovely location surrounded by the desert with stunning views of the Red Rock Mesa. The neighboring cattle, horses, and even a donkey visit both sides of the property. Evening walks are a special treat on this dead-end desert road!
