Picoccina (a juxtaposition of "piccola" and "cucina" which in Italian means small kitchen) is a century-old construction that served as a kitchen and dining room for the Cecconi family. Purchased by an engineer and a gastronome, it has been restored to a cozy country house to cook quietly on the wood-burning stove, sip a long breakfast or taste a good wine to the sound of a vinyl.

The space
Piccocina is a house measuring just over 30 m² with essential items to disconnect from the daily rush and connect with simple life in the midst of nature. The room is equipped with a double bed and spring mattress, blankets with cover, 4 pillows, weigher and white cotton bedding. We have a small closet from the 1940s to store clothes, a hangers with hats that can be used, and a bedside table on the sides of the bed. We also have a TV with access to Netflix for those cold days with a movie. In the living room, there are two armchairs, a wooden box and a wood burning stove for cold days. For cooking we have a two burner induction stove, a large wooden countertop and a sink with cold and hot water. The vinyl that belonged to Juliano's grandfather packs the breakfasts to the tune of Frank Sinatra and also the nights with a good wine. For a cozy bath, we have gas heated water, soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels for our guests.
