Enjoy the sweeping river views, relax with a cup of coffee or a cocktail in the waterfront Adirondack chairs, take a dip in the river or cool off in the pool. With open living spaces and thoughtful decor, this is your waterfront retreat.

The space
This spacious cottage has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a main first floor riverfront bedroom with king bed, secondary first floor riverfront bedroom with queen bed, and large upstairs room with two full beds and a pullout couch. Note: the upstairs room has an exterior entrance off the living room.

Downstairs, the fully stocked kitchen opens up to a breakfast area where you can sip your morning coffee while taking in stunning river views.

Then, stroll through the open, airy space to the cozy living room with its roaring fireplace (one of your hosts would like to note this is the perfect off-season spot for a glass of nbourbon and watching football), a front sitting area for a sunset read, and a dining area that seats 8.

If you're looking for a spot with strong wifi to work remotely, this is it! Take your meetings while looking out at the river or head upstairs to the 'office' with a desk and a Zoom-ready background.

Outside, you'll find adirondack chairs and a Solo stove fire pit overlooking the Rappahannock River, steps leading into the river, a pool open late spring through mid-fall, a darling rose garden, and even a white picket fence. The charm here is unrivaled –– Rosehill Cottage is your hideaway on the river.

Rosehill Cottage is located down a rural private road that leads to a small group of homes. You'll drive through unspoiled woods and, just as the trees break, you'll see the river. This is the type of place where you could spend your entire stay on the property, cooking meals and enjoying the water, or you could get out explore the small Virginia towns along the Chesapeake Bay.
