Pitchcott Farm is set among the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside with expansive views in all directions. This organic farm has a heritage of regenerating the health and vitality of the environment and the land is managed in a way that prioritises biodiversity. The Victorian five bedroom farmhouse has been fully renovated and is now open for farm stays as well as retreats with mindful walks, forest bathing and other activities offering all the health benefits of connecting to nature.

The space
The farmhouse has five bedrooms and is very spacious throughout. Downstairs there is a kitchen and breakfast room facing the farm courtyard. There are two living rooms, both with large fireplaces. The blue room has sofas and bookshelves with board games and childrens toys, while the white room is a multi-use workspace and dining area. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Four of the rooms have double beds, one of which is a superking. The fifth room has three single beds, and a fourth can be added. Both of the larger bedrooms have farm and countryside views, with their own private doors to a bathroom. The other bedrooms have views on to the courtyard and the fields beyond. The courtyard is surrounded by stable buildings and there is a barrel BBQ constructed from re-cycled farm materials.

The hamlet of Pitchcott is perched on top of the hills overlooking Aylesbury Vale, while the neighbouring village of Oving faces the other direction towards North Marsden and Winslow. Pitchcott Farm is in an idyllic location with expansive vistas in both directions. The local pub at Oving is a short walk across the fields, and serves delicious dishes. A longer walk in the other direction will take you to the restored windmill and the George and Dragon pub at Quainton.

I'm Tony, born in London and married to Arianna from Siracusa in Sicily. We live in London with our two boys. Over the past couple of years I have started to renovate and diversify my family farm in Buckinghamshire. Its Victorian farmhouse was originally at the centre of my grandfather's pioneering enterprise in organic and biodynamic farming, and I am retaining this heritage of environmental protection while developing the farm in a way that prioritises sustainability, regeneration and the health of humanity in connection with nature.

As a family we go to Siracusa for our holidays, having bought and renovated a villa on the seafront of Siracusa several years ago. It's in a beautiful and serene spot with gorgeous views across the bay to Ortigia.
