Located just one and a half blocks from the central park, PAPA-CHAMA is the best option to stay in Papantla. A house with a lot of tradition, which shares its lodging area with an independent cultural center and a gastronomic alternative food proposal, different from any of the region.

From Wednesday to Sunday we have cultural activities for the whole public such as painting classes, black dance, totonaco, workshops, musical performances and more.

The space
A house full of colors, a museum, paintings, paintings, works on the walls and even in the bathrooms; PAPA-CHAMA is a place full of magic. The lodging area is located at the back of the house and is composed of the Angel and Light rooms, which are a couple of shared rooms, located at the back of the enclosure, where you will live the experience of sleeping in a traditional papantean house.

Angel Room.

It is located at the back of the house and consists of a double bed, a desk and a rocking chair. It is a very cool room and has a nice view.On the premises there are places to relax or read a book, work, take classes, or rest. Try Aunt Luz's traditional original pot coffee that we brewed.
The "desert" and the "sea" are a couple of complete baths that are shared with the enclosure.

Papantla, Veracruz, Mexico

The center of Papantla is safe, the archaeological area of Tajín, the Center of Indigenous Arts (CAI), the Ritual Dance of the Papantla Flyers that are part of the three World Heritage Sites declared by UNESCO, you can find them here. Not forgetting the beautiful beaches that I own the Totonacapan as they are Rancho Playa, a semi virgin beach that belongs to our municipality, Tecolutla or Costa Smeralda where I can recommend a couple of restaurants with exquisite food.

Visit the beautiful central park and what it has prepared for you, enjoy a beautiful view in its viewpoint. Eli and don Mauro you will have for you and your companion in scraped "the flyers"; you can also go for a traditional architect of doña Chayito, it is easy to locate because it always has people.

Hello, my name is David and I am originally from the place where coyotes abound, Coyoacán, but my blood is papanteca (from Papantla), so I am called "coyoacanteco". I am a traveler just like you, so I understand the needs you may require when you visit another place. My family, committed to the local cultural processes, dedicated much of their life to keeping them alive through a Totonaco manual translated into Spanish; today that is my mission too. That's why I hope you'll fall in love with my small but beautiful little town, just like I did when I got there.
