In the heart of lush green countryside - this self-contained apartment is part of a renovated late 1800s farmhouse. The farm is surrounded by forest and is quiet and secluded – you’ll be able to star gaze at night and have birdsong by day.

The beautiful Wexford coastline is 8min by car. Perfect for long beach walks including Cahore cliff trail. Kilmuckridge village is 5mins drive. Gorey town is 15mins drive. Rest assured we will happily fill you in further on what to see and do for your stay.

The space
This one bedroomed ground floor apartment embodies the romance of the old farmhouse but also has modern touches to add to the comfort and convenience of the space. The kitchen/dining/livingroom area is located in the original farmhouse kitchen and still retains some of the old building’s features. An exposed shipwreck beam spans the ceiling of the livingroom; the original step ladder to the overhead trap door is still in place where it once lead to the kitchen maid’s room. The old sash windows spill the living space with sunlight from early morning.

The apartment has central heating and an electric stove so it’ll be cosy no matter what time of the year you visit. The kitchen is fully equipped including a gas hob, electric oven and microwave. The beautifully appointed bedroom has a modern wet room ensuite. There is also a separate toilet off the apartment’s corridor.

The property located in farmland countryside. It is an 8 minute drive from the beach and the beautiful Wexford coastline. Ideal for a couple – you’ll be perfectly located for long beach walks including the cliff trail starting at Cahore Point. After your walk you can take refreshment at The Strand while enjoying the fabulous view of the bay and the pier head. There are several other restaurants/cafes and many activities in the vicinity: while the nearest village, Kilmuckridge, is 5 mins drive and Gorey, the nearest town for shopping etc is 15mins drive. Gorey’s Esmonde St is renowned for its boutiques and fashion shopping.
