A warm welcome awaits you at this gorgeously cute cottage nestled within the idyllic village of Mountsorrel, in Charnwood.
We are superbly placed for peaceful walks along the River Soar, and scenic trails with stunning views of the county can be found on the doorstep.
Cosy country pubs, lovely cafes, shops, and a Michellin starred restaurant 'John's House' are all in walking distance. The Great Central Railway, National Space Centre and King Richard III attraction are also easily accessible.

The space
You will be full of smiles and wrapped up with a feeling of loveliness from the moment you arrive at this most beautifully presented and newly refurbished 1920's semi-detached character cottage.

You will have the entire property to yourself, including full use of:

~ The cosy front room/snug with a real log burner, two settees, an ottoman foot stool and Sky TV

~ An open plan kitchen dining living area at the back of the cottage with a gas log burner, drop leaf dining table & chairs, a large settee, Sky TV and patio doors to the garden

~ The large master bedroom and main bathroom (both upstairs) accessed by a well lit stairs and landing


Original features have been restored throughout, sumptuous carpet is underfoot, cosy log burners, underfloor heating in the newly fitted kitchen, and a luxurious bathroom will all combine to make you feel instantly at home, relaxed and calm.

Patio doors lead you straight into the wonderfully sunny south west facing garden where you will find seating and dining areas a plenty. The garden offers beautiful views across the countryside, the sounds of birds tweeting happily, and the most beautiful sunsets; making this a tranquil space to enjoy some peace, quiet and relaxation.

Upstairs you will find a newly decorated large master bedroom, with wooden shutters and ample storage space for all your belongings. A very comfortable double bed with a french rattan headboard, an antique 1950's dressing table, and two bedside tables with ambient evening lighting.

At the end of the landing is the newly refurbished main bathroom, with a luxurious roll top bath, a hot power shower and a bathroom unit to store any toiletries.
