A small but special cosy space, the Wee Cabin is up on a Plateau at the base of the Takitimu Mountains with a Fabulous view. It is situated on a rural working farm 15 minutes from Manapouri and 25 minutes from Te Anau on the doorstep of Fiordland. Escape and unwind from every day life and enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness that comes from being in this natural country setting which includes a Continental Breakfast. Welcome to our wee slice of paradise :).

The space
A 20 meters squared cabin with an ensuite which consists of a shower, vanity and toilet. There is a small kitchenette, queen bed with luxury linen, smart tv and wall heating with an exceptional view. There are two very comfortable outside chairs and a small boutique table under a verandah. The cabin is set on a working farm so at different times there will be sheep, cattle and deer visible from the wee cabin.

Where you’ll be

Te Anau, Southland, New Zealand

We are close to great fishing, both Lakes and Rivers, and have incredibly clear night skies that is perfect for star gazing. We are also very handy to the Fiordland National Park and its Great Walks including the Kepler Track, Milford Track and Routeburn Track. The Wee Cabin is 15 minutes from Manapouri, which is the gateway to Doubtful sound and 25 minutes from Te Anau.
Very quiet, safe and tranquil.
