Enjoy living on this idyllic farm in the Swedish countryside. The cosy & comfortable double story house is surrounded by farm landscape with a open view down to the lake. Enjoy long summer evenings on the wooden deck, or cuddle up on a winters night by the indoor fireplace. This is a special place to stay no matter the season. Situated on a working farm, you have access to farm animals & fresh food gardens. Take a walk in the forest or swim in the lake. This is countryside living at its best.

The space
Långbyn is a classic Swedish farm which has been in Nina’s family for generations. There is 40 hectares of forest with 20 hectares of farm land down to the lake. The farm consists of two houses, two summer cottages and three big barns. We have a vegetable garden, a horse and a pony, sheep and a chicken coop.

The Långbyn Farm House is located next door to the home of the van Rooyen family, who own and live on the farm. The farm consists of two homes, two summer cottages, three big barns, a 40 hectar forest and a jetty by the lake. In the summer we have a fresh food garden (guests can buy seasonal vegetables when available). There are horses, sheep and chickens (eggs for sale) on the farm along with the two dogs and two cats.
While this is a farm stay, you are only 13km away from the center of Örebro. For those who enjoy hiking, trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing and the great outdoors you have Kilsbergen very nearby. The picturesque little town of Nora is also a short drive north of the farm.
