The space
Nestled on the river bank of La Meuse at Lives-sur-Meuse, Jardins de Namur is an ancient cottage surrounded by nature with awesome views, .... a place where the subtle attention to detail has been carefully considered throughout the property.

As the house is quite big for me and my husband we decided to open our home and share it with guests and friends who are looking for new experiences in a place where they can closely relate with nature and work on their own projects.

It´s surrounded by beautiful gardens, including a bountiful organic edible garden created and maintained by us. It's with great satisfaction that we harvest fresh vegetables to prepare our daily meals. You too are invited to taste the delicacies from the gardens!

As its not possible for us to think about our life without living with plants, our indoors is also a garden!

In your private space you have a cozy and comfortable bedroom with a view of the garden, a spacious and bright bathroom and also a big room where you can get inspired with fabulous views of both the river and the gardens.
The deep sills of the windows make cosy places to sit and gaze out at your chosen vista.

In this bigger room you can find space to chill out and immerse yourself in a good book.
If you are searching the ideal opportunity to live your inner creativity, this space also offers you all the amenities to work comfortably, including a large table perfect to write, draw, making photos or whatever you need for your current researches or your own projects.

But if you are searching for truly relaxing days, the cottage becomes a perfect place to rest, immerse yourself in nature and hopefully have some headspace in this mad, busy world.

Downstairs you can enjoy the common spaces like the kitchen, dining room and living room, where you can venture through our books and magazines, feeling the heat of the woods that burns in the stove, when it´s cold outside.

A special breakfast is included in the price, carefully prepared with our fresh greeneries and homemade bread.
