The space
The Maplewood Suite is a full apartment located below the main living space of our family home. It is appx 650 sq ft with a very large kitchen, living room with dining table, and bedroom area. The bedroom and living area are separated by a large wall, but it has no door. Extra sleeping accommodations include a portable twin cot, a queen air mattress, and a pack and play with crib. Please register all guests and specify how you would like it set up before you arrive.

It is a completely private space and has no shared air with the main level of the home. It has it's own heating and cooling system with ion generator. The space is disinfected with ozone and a NASA-grade hydrogen peroxide air and surface sanitization system in between guests.

Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, just a few minutes from town but it feels like you're in the woods. The back deck sits up in the trees and is very private. You can hear the frogs in the springtime. We have hummingbirds and a variety of other birds, and you'll often see deer roaming the neighborhood.

Garbage day is Friday (early morning), that's the only significant noise you might hear so use the earplugs or sound machine Thursday night, lol! :-) We live upstairs so you'll hear occasional noises of daily life, but we try to respect noise levels when you're here, especially during quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
