The space
You have use of the entire bottom level of my home which includes the garden, outdoor area, outdoor kitchen and laundry facilities. The house has one main bedroom and other beds are in a studio setup in the main living area.
Enjoy the peace of the spectacular tropical gardens, with an amazing array of birds and butterflies.

This is a residential neighborhood on the edge of Bargara. You are not in the centre of the action. We are very close (a short walk) to the Rifle Range beach and Mary Kinross Park which contains a fenced, off-leash dog park.
At the bottom of the street is Nudibranch beach, a well known dive site in Bundaberg. The closest pub and bottle-O is 2 streets away, and we are 5 km from the centre of Bargara which has a shopping centre and a small tourist area. This would necessitate a drive.
It’s a 2km walk or drive from Kelly’s Beach lagoon, Neilson Park beach and surf club and a lovely walk or bike ride from Rifle Range beach to get there.
Mon Repos beach is about 10km to the north, and great to visit in or out of Turtle Breeding season.
Elliott Heads beach is also really close - a great day out. The river estuary is an off leash dog zone. There are beautiful walking paths from the beach along the path in both directions, all the way to Burnett Heads in the north and Innes Park in the south.
We are 9km from the centre of Bundaberg and all its tourist attractions and facilities, including hospitals, shops and shopping centres.
Bargara has a lovely tourist area with a few coffee shops, restaurants, fish and chips shops and some bars. A great getaway.

During your stay

I live in the house above the Airbnb and am home in the afternoons and at the weekend and during school holidays.
I have my own dogs so they may be on the property. They are incredibly friendly and well-socialised. Please let me know if you do not want them downstairs while you are here.
Because I live upstairs there may be some noise. My cats are usually the perpetrators as they are inside only cats!
I may be available for reasonable concerns but may be unable to solve them immediately.
Preferably contact me via email or through the Airbnb site.
