The space
Lovingly furnished and cosy.
The house has spacious kitchen with wooden and electric stove, two bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with small sauna), a dining room, a living room with fireplace and terrace on the ground floor. There is a multifunction living room on the first floor with two sofa-beds and office space. The tent-like attic provides more sleeping accommodation, with one double-bed and two single-beds.
The garden is the ideal place to relax, enjoy the view or even barbecue.

Important notes:

- There is a small area in the house where you can hear through, but this is relatively easily solved by closing an intermediate door. Nevertheless, we would like to point it out because some might find it a little disturbing.
- The sleeping arrangements are uncomplicated and aimed at a casual holiday stay: there are no classic bedrooms with doors.
- The attic is very popular with children (and adults too, of course), but we would like to point out that it has no standing height (max. 1.40 m) and has a relatively steep ladder staircase as access. Therefore, the loft is not age-appropriate.
- Our sauna is small but nice, for a maximum of 3 people with a view of the landscape.
- Caution: we have two cats who occasionally like to sneak in - we are careful and follow a strict cleaning protocol but if you are very allergic, it might be a point to take into account

The farmhouse is in a tiny village that is void of any service or shop but is easily accessed by road and bigger towns are close by. This region is characterized by its “thousand hills and villages”-landscape, most of them separated by just 1 km of hilly roads and fields.
This location is a 5-min ride away from the new highlight of the region: the Panarbora Park
Just 50 km east of Cologne, on the edge of the Bergisches Land Nature Park, lies Panarbora. Covering an area, the size of eleven soccer fields, Panarbora promises its guests a unique composition of nature, fun and environmental education, on a walk through the treetops.
There are many bike and hike routes ready to enjoy and a bicycle stand behind the house.
