Star Narrowboat Holidays co uk offers 'Queenie' a 50ft/15.45m narrowboat based at Anderton Marina, Uplands Road, Anderton, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 6AJ. 28 miles from Manchester city centre, 18 miles from Manchester Airport. 'Queenie' is available for static houseboat accommodation from Nov to March only. This is different, personal and cosy. We normally run narrowboat holiday hire on the canals and have been doing this since 2012 we have 2 boats 'Woodstock' and 'Queenie'.

The space
'Queenie' is a different type of place to stay if you are coming to Cheshire. Breakfast on the back deck, warm nights by the fire, short drive or train ride into Chester or Manchester - stay in, go out do both. We normally run narrowboat hire on the canal.

I used to live on a boat and work in Manchester, then I decided to escape that 'race' and now I'm self employed. I have been offering narrowboat holiday hire since June 2012. I started offering static houseboat hire on Airbnb in 2016 (only available here from Nov to March each year). I also offer Experience Days where I teach you how to use a narrowboat! My boats are 'Queenie' and 'Woodstock'...'Gloria' retired in 2020. We are now based at Anderton Marina in Northwich, Cheshire on the Trent and Mersey canal - we think we've got the best moorings. :)
