There is much to love about this beautifully presented property.
Sleeping five, it boasts two bathrooms, one featuring a bath and the other a shower, a separate dining room and a cosy living area with a wood burning stove, so it really does have everything you need for a great break. Perfectly placed for the coveted Norfolk triangle of the most loved things to see and do, you can be at the coast, in the heart of the Broads or in Norwich within around 30 minutes. Explore the stunning North Norfolk coastline, stopping off for a spot of crab lining on Blakeney Quay, enjoy the wide sandy beach and painted beach huts at Wells-next-the-Sea or stroll along Cromer pier and get a great view of the Edwardian seafront.
Head to Wroxham, considered by many to be the gateway to the beautiful Norfolk Broads and charter a day launch or join a tour and drift along these famous waterways. For a change of pace, visit the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman Castle, numerous museums, galleries and theatres, and great placed to eat, drink and shop including the award-winning market and the twisty Lanes. Take the Bure Valley Railway from the nearby market town of Aylsham and travel across open countryside. Head to Sheringham and hop on the North Norfolk steam railway. Make time to visit the Georgina town of Holt with its pretty buildings and artisan places to eat, drink shop and just potter. Add in Bewilderwood, Amazonia Zoo, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Sheringham Park and RSPB Cley Marshes, the Holkham, Blickling, Felbrigg and Sandringham Estates, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections and more besides and you will discover that you really must book another holiday in Norfolk, just to fit it all in. You are sure to choose Auckland House for your return visit too, having fallen just a little bit in love with it the first time round. Beach 14 miles. Pub 148 yards.
