The Stumpy Oak Annex is located in the heart of Market Drayton.

Scenic walks are just a stones throw away, and if you are looking to finish off your day with some local pub grub there are plenty to choose from with in a 5 minute walk.

The space
The Stumpy Oak Annex, is a charming period one bedroom mews style annex, within a short stroll into the center of Market Drayton, and an equally short walk to the canal, and countryside walks. The annex is perfect for those visiting family or friends in the town, or for those looking for a cosy retreat in the heart of this historic Shropshire town.
The Space
Featuring a spacious fully-equipped kitchen, downstairs cloakroom, lounge with sofa bed and 42” smart TV. A good-sized tiled shower room, and double bedroom complete the property. A key feature of the property is exclusive access to the “Stumpy Oak” outdoor bar, a large, covered, outdoor bar with log burner, dart board and juke box and ample seating, – great for get togethers. The property is completed with a barbeque area, and private parking.
Guest Access
The property is accessed via a private gate, leading to the garden area and outdoor bar, from which the door to the property is situated. Entering through the kitchen, a hallway, gives access to the WC and stairs lead up to the lounge, bedroom and shower room. Due to the historic layout of the building, there is, unfortunately, no access for those with mobility issues.
Other things to note
Stumpy Oak Annex is only a 5 minute walk to the Shropshire Union canal and access to the Shropshire countryside, whilst being located on the fringe of the town center, with all of it’s bar, restaurants and historic buildings, these include St Mary’s church (visible from the lounge) a church that part dates back to Saxon times. The larger towns of Shrewsbury, Telford and Stoke are all within half an hour.
