Our little charming 1-bedroom cottage is privately located next to a hillside crossing over Cachagua Creek. We are located in the Santa Lucia Mountain Range. Peaceful and tranquil. A great spot for stargazing and listening to birds and crickets. A sweet little place to get away from it all.

Kid friendly and pet friendly with supervision.

30 minutes from Carmel Valley Village, 50 minutes from the Carmel coast, and 90 minutes from Big Sur.

The space
Full kitchen with reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, gas range, oven, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, and Keurig coffee maker. We keep the kitchen stocked with any cooking supplies you might need, pots, pans, salt/pepper, olive oil, oven mitts, and more.

In the bedroom there is a comfy queen size bed and walk-in closet. The sofa in the living room pulls out into another queen size bed. Pillows and linens are provided for the sofa bed in the closet.

The bathroom has a claw foot bathtub and combination shower with waterfall showerhead. We keep extras stocked of any personal items you might need for comfort.

The deck looks over the hillside and the stars will be bright and twinkling.

We just added a hottub for guests to enjoy!

Onsite professional photographer who is available to do family sessions if booked in advance. The session can be at the cottage or at a location of your choice within a 30 mile radius.

It is peaceful, quiet, just lovely. Perfect for bird watching, discovering wildlife, and listening to the flowing water. Locals are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We are biased but couldn't ever think to leave our little slice of heaven.
