Welcome to The Daisy, a recently updated cottage in the village of Beulah near Sleeping Bear Dunes and Crystal Mountain. You will love being steps away from the beach on Crystal Lake and all of the cute shops and restaurants of downtown Beulah, including Five Shores Brewery. Come enjoy 3 bedrooms upstairs, a fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of lounge and work space. Take one of our 4 bikes for a ride on the Betsie Valley Trail, enjoy the outdoor shower, and relax around the backyard fire pit.

The space
All new kitchen and bathrooms in 2021 and all new beds/bedding/furniture/etc. High speed internet and plenty of desk space allows for working comfortably from the cottage if you wish. All three bedrooms are located upstairs while both of the bathrooms are off of the kitchen on the main floor. There is one full bath with a tub/shower combo and one half bath. There is also a private outdoor shower in the backyard, which is the most amazing way to start or end the day! The living room includes a daybed with a trundle for extra guests, with the option to close a room divider curtain for privacy at night.

The cottage features central heating and air, and a new on-demand water heater to ensure that you won’t run out during your stay. Guests are welcome to use the washer/dryer and extra refrigerator off the dining room.

The outdoor space features string lights, a gas grill, a seating area with sectional and Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a Solo Stove to roast s’mores and cap off a perfect day up north!

Back inside the cottage, the dining room seats 8 and is located right next to a sliding door with the outdoor picnic table and grill. An IKEA high chair is also available for our littlest guest. Come enjoy fresh ground coffee in the morning using our Smeg coffee grinder and brewed using a Moccamaster, known for making the perfect cup of coffee. Tea is also provided along with all the amenities to feel like your home away from home... hair dryers in both bathrooms, shampoo & conditioner, soap, and linens, including towels and beach towels.

Enjoy the quiet moments by flipping though one of our good reads or cookbooks. Gather to play one of the games provided, including corn hole outside. Go for a bike ride using one of the 4 bikes we keep on the property. Come enjoy the simplicity of the beautiful town of Beulah and northern Michigan.

The beach nearby is the perfect spot to take in beautiful sunsets and we love that it has a playground too. You can also walk to all of the wonderful shops in town (great shopping, ice cream, coffee, deli, pizza, restaurants, and Five Shores Brewery). The Betsie Valley Trail is also close by for walks or bike rides that you can take all the way to Frankfort or Crystal Mountain. Four adult bikes are included with your stay to use. Beulah also has a public fishing dock to enjoy.

There are amazing Lake Michigan beaches nearby to explore, hiking trails, floating or kayaking on the Platte River, Sleeping Bear Dunes, mountain biking, wineries/breweries/distilleries, lots of golfing options (including Arcadia Bluffs 20 minutes south of us), and anything else you could imagine within a 15 minute to hour drive away.

In town, there is Crystal Lake Adventure Sports where you can rent bikes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards. Crystal Mountain is also a 15 minute drive away with lots of summer activities, mountain biking, dining options, an alpine slide, and and a spa. Check out the concert schedule for Interlochen since it’s only a 25 minute drive away too or enjoy many of the free concerts that Beulah and neighboring towns and breweries put on all summer long!
