Spacious home perfect for families or groups. Located in a small village in the Essex countryside, but very close to towns and and amenities. Close to National Trust setting of Hatfield Forest (5mins drive) and also great walking routes from the house. Perfect for dogs!

7 minute drive to Bishops Stortford train station, with fast trains to London (35mins) and Cambridge (30mins).

The space
Spacious family home, that is mostly open plan in design.

Large kitchen with breakfast bar and 5 stools, as well as coffee sitting area. Kitchen includes American style fridge freezer with ice machine, a bar area with wine and beer fridges, and separate utility room.

Separate dining room, next to kitchen that seats up to 10 people.

Two large super king rooms, one with dressing area. Two double rooms. Enough space in the king rooms for travel cots or blow up beds for babies/toddlers.

For babies, we have two travel cots, two high chairs and a stair gate.

There are 3 bathrooms - including 3 toilets, 3 showers, 1 bath.

House has a separate playroom that is next to the lounge, so perfect for keeping an eye on children. It can be left as a playroom with a TV, books and many toys/games suitable for kids from 2-12, as well as an Xbox 360. Or it can be cleared of toys and a ping pong table left in there instead.

The lounge has a large TV with Sky (all channels), Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

The house is well stocked including the following -
Toilet roll (plenty for your entire stay), kitchen roll, tin foil, clingfilm, hand wash, body wash, washing up liquid, cleaning products/cloths/sponges, washing tablets, fabric softener, candles, herbs and spices, olive oils, condiments, tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate.

Garden includes play area with giant connect 4, dominoes, playhouse, sand table, as well as a climbing frame, tire swing and large trampoline.
Garden also includes a dual gas/coal BBQ and pizza oven. There is lounge style seating for 8 and a separate area with table and chairs that seats 8.

The house has air conditioning for those occasional hot days. Whilst it’s not spread all over the house, the units will drastically cool much of downstairs and the landing area upstairs.

For the winter months there is a log burner in the lounge (wood and kindling supplied).
