Our unique and comfortable 1-bedroom cottage has a genuine Gotland countryside feel. Wake up to the birdsong and watch them while having breakfast on your private patio. Our cottage is centrally located at a 15 minute drive to the Ljugarn, Katthammarsvik and Roma. We will have a guide for you with all enjoyable things to do in the area. Wifi and parking included.

The space
The cottage is a carefully renovated “bryggeri” (brewery) on a traditional Gotlandic farm. It is unique. In the evening you will leave the living room with open plan kitchen to ascend the outside stairs to your bedroom in the former hay attic. Enjoy the stars through the window.

If you are looking for a tranquil spot after an active day or a day at the beach, this is the place to be. You will be in the middle of a farming community that goes back many, many years. We have some nice walks in the areas. Enjoy a bike ride to Ala Fjäle and view restored Iron Age farmstead, visit medieval Ala Church or pick your own flowers in Ala Garden. Rather go to the beach? We are a 15 minute drive from the beaches and restaurants in Ljugarn and Katthammarsvik.

You will find a bit of Dutch, British, Swedish and Albertan (Canada) in your host. I like to travel and explore new places, although there are some places I like to return to.
