This canvas tent is pitched in the centre of a 3.5 acre cottage lot. It is a great place if you want to get away from it all.

Park just off the access road and take the short hike to the centre of the woodlot up a rugged trail that will be challenging if you're not familiar with rugged back woods trails.

There you will find the 10'x15' canvas tent, pitched on a 15'x15' platform. Wood for the stove is cut and split. Forage wood for outdoor fires.

The space
The tent is roomy by tent standards at 10'x15'. There is a double and a single sleeping pad inside. Bring your own sleeping bags. There are dishes and cookware, a camping kitchen/washstand, and solar panel with battery and inverter for charging electronics.

Where you'll sleep

Bedroom
1 floor mattress

Where you’ll be

Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada

This is "Cottage Country". There are many cottages and empty woodlots on the road to my place.

There is a general store and gas station about 2 kms down the road. So you are not without access to some amenities. New Ross is not far and Kentville and Berwick are country neighbors.

I am a proud Haligonian! A family man, living sandwiched between my adult kids and my "moms" (who I care for at home). I have a camp in the woods that I host on Airbnb, and I like to stay in an Airbnb when I travel whether that's a staycation, a work trip, or a wilder adventure.

You can email me or connect by phone before you go. Once there, you'd need to hike to find a cell signal to call me. I won't be on-site when you are . . . but you'll be fine if you're an experienced camper.
