Other things to note
The Oscaleta Guest House is on a lake in the woods and due to insurance reasons we can’t host children younger than 12 years old. Serious storms (like Sandy) have taken out the power and internet. It is usually restored as promptly as possible. Unfortunately we can’t control the weather but we have water and flashlights in the unlikely event this happens. There is no emergency generator installed.

I feel lucky to have lived and worked in so many great places… Aus (Syd&Melb), Nz (Jaffa), PRC (Shanghai), & UK(London)… but NYC is my home mostly for last decade.. You have the whole place to yourself! We live in the main house so if anything is needed... let us know. There is a nice lake community vibe and everyone is super friendly but also respectful of your privacy.
