Beautifully presented grade 2 listed cottage, situated in a sought after location in the centre of the village of Ticehurst, East Sussex.

The space
This is a cosy grade 2 listed cottage with one double and one twin bedroom. There is a bathroom with a bath and over head shower. There is also a separate downstairs loo.
The kitchen is well stocked and has a table to sit four people.
There is a lovely inglenook fireplace in the sitting room with a wood burning stove.
Outside is a pretty front garden with seating for two, very well sheltered and facing south. At the back is a courtyard accessed from the kitchen which has a table for outside dining for four.

The village of Ticehurst is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The area offers a wealth of outdoor activities including walking and cycling at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest and Bewl Water where also a wide range of other outdoor activities can be enjoyed including fishing and water sports. Cycle hire can be arranged at both Bewl Water and Bedgebury.
There are many National Trust properties in the area including Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle and Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling. Just down the road are the beautiful gardens of Pashley Manor with its spectacular Tulip festival held every spring.
The town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is 20 minutes away with many fine restaurants, shops and a theatre.
There are three great pubs in the village and the cottage is very conveniently placed for wining and dining at the award winning pub The Bell.
The village itself has a many shops including a village store, greengrocer, chemist, two cafes and an Indian takeaway.
