The space
1. Our History:
Casa Domo Brasil was born from the will of a São Paulo family to provide quieter moments and together with nature for their daughter who was on her way.
The goal was to create balance between crazy city life during the week and slow down to breathe clean air on weekends. This balance was perfect since the House is in Cotia only 38Km from SP.
In view of this, different from the concept of “glamping”, Casa Domo Brasil was built with all the amenities of a conventional residence. Its 150m², considering the deck, provide a lot of space for living among friends and/or families of up to 5 people.
2. Space:
Our goal was to renew the connection with the earth, return to the essence to pay attention to the least we need to be happy, and pass on these teachings to our daughter in practice.
So we know the geodesic structure. It takes you out of conventional architecture and brings you back to the rounded shapes of the earliest dwellings on earth.
It is amazing the feeling of well-being in a geodesic dome, there is a theory that this feeling is linked to the ancestral memories stored in our subconscious, reminding us of the feeling of comfort and protection that we live in our mothers' wombs.
Both in the construction and in the daily life of the house we follow concepts related to the protection and conservation of the planet. We have organic waste, we compost, vegetable garden (under construction), attitudes to reduce garbage and, mainly, plastic.
Still during the works, we realized that many people would like to share this experience and here we are. Welcome to Casa Domo Brasil and be part of this experience.
3. The surroundings:
We are in a privileged region for those who want to have direct contact with nature, with the comfort of a modern house and still be close to shops and interesting sights.
In less than 10KM we have good restaurants, many bike trails, Tennis Revolution Arena, small farms for children (Pet Zoo / Bicho Mania), Cachoeira da Graça (in the fds is very full, we recommend it in the middle of the week), Thermas da Mata (water park). On our side we have the Kober Equus space that offers horse riding and horse therapy. Soon we will also have Animalia Park in the neighborhood, a new large amusement park.
Approximately 30 minutes by car has the Zulai Temple, Mini Fazenda Nose, Cemucam Park, Academia Centaurus de Tiro, Arvoristmo Gigantus, The Square Open Mall (also has tree climbing for children).
For those interested in 40 minutes there are other interesting activities in Cotia and also meet other tourist cities nearby, such as São Roque and Embu das Artes.
4. Access Access
to Casa Domo Brasil is quiet, leaving the asphalt we have 2 Km of dirt road in good condition. The route can be made with a private car or uber. We have parking with private entrance, when entering the site you will see a tiny house container that is building.
5. Casa Domo Brasil
The House has several attractions, "this kitchen is an invitation to agglomeration", was the comment of one of our guests, emphasizing the breadth and connection that the kitchen offers.
Maintaining the breadth we also have the room in loft style and the living room and coexistence in open concept.
On the cold nights of Cotia the wood-fired heater brings more coziness in the living room and leaves the whole environment warm.
For immersion bath enthusiasts, Casa offers two options, an indoor bathtub overlooking the woods and a wooden hot tub on the outdoor deck.
Still on the outside we also have the floor fire, providing experiences during the day and night.
