In this Tiny House, embrace the comforts of home & the excitement of camping. Enjoy 2 acres of raw beachfront right on the banks of the MO River. Activities include: nearby trails, on-site fishing, paddle boating & bonfires (wood provided). We are protected from the main currents of the river by a long peninsula. A favorite is the skylight above the bed, so you will literally sleep under the stars! If you ever wanted to experience Tiny House living (complete with Compost Toilet), this is it!

The space
This is a Tiny House with a built on Sunroom that doubles the square footage. As you enter what we call the mudroom, you can drop your luggage in there. We have provided a cold (and hot) water dispenser with professionally delivered filtered water. The kitchen is modified. It has a dorm size fridge, an induction hotplate (not a range), a microwave and sink. No coffee pot, but we provide instant coffee and the water dispenser will provide hot water, or heat water over a campfire for full effect! Above the mudroom is the loft where the queen bed rests. It's a 10" memory foam mattress--Ever bit as comfortable as at home. Above the bed is a skylight/moonroof that you can open for fresh air or keep closed and watch the stars as you fade off to sleep. Another place to sleep is the pull out couch. This will sleep one. The bathroom has a compost toilet. People are intrigued to learn how these work! There's a full shower and we of course will always provide clean linens and towels. We may have light snacks and condiments. For longer stays, we have a cooler as well, but you'll need to supply the ice. There's so much beauty and rawness to this property. Guests remark about seeing falling stars, bald eagles, deer, turtles, jumping fish...and a billion stars in a clear night sky. This place is simple, but it's a great get away from the business of whatever your day-to-day looks like!
