This unusual getaway was abandoned after hurricane Maria. I have refurbished it significantly, but it is still very rustic. (PLEASE keep that in mind!) You are in the middle of nature, about 500 yards from the ocean. It is one room, with a kitchenette and a small bathroom. Very peaceful & quiet. Internet is super fast though and there is a solar electric generator on site for power outages.

The space
It is pretty much just one, round, open space. There is a small bathroom with a door. A large wraparound deck goes around almost the entire upper floor. (Lower floor is just storage space under the house, and is not accessible to guests.) The deck is the best part. In general, you really feel like a castaway on a jungle island.

Where you’ll be

It is quiet, in a very rural setting. There is a string of bars/restaurants along the main route though. And a grocery store a few miles down the road. A Walmart and Sams Club are not too far away either.
