We called this serene room after the Greek name for Grandmother. Yaya’s room is the first one you reach as you take the stairs up into our beautiful villa. The windows look straight out to the sea, which is just steps away.

The bed has the most comfortable mattress you could wish for, topped with indulgent, luxury bedding. Immediately outside the room is the plunge pool equipped with massage jets, an outside shower and cushioned seating.

The space
The stylish bathroom includes a rain shower. There is air conditioning, dedicated good quality WiFi, a safe, a fridge, a workspace and ample storage for your belongings.

The bed can be split into two queen sized beds on request.

As a guest of the Anchor House you will have shared access to all the outside spaces including the roof terrace with sun loungers, the viewing deck with mattresses, the main terrace with dining table, the shady kitchen garden terrace, two outside showers and the jacuzzi with massage jets.

The Anchor House is in the best location in Symi (and Greece...). We are directly above the beach, and near the best restaurant on the island. You cannot beat the views from our house. The harbour is a short stroll away.

My husband and I love the sea! Our two homes have breathtaking views of the sea. We have set them up with maximum comfort in mind. We love to cook, so the kitchens are very well set up. Mattresses are super important to us - all of our beds have top quality mattresses.
