AN LIONADH is a 4 bedroom (sleeps 8 +2) comfortable house, in an amazing location on the tiny car free island of Easdale, near Oban on Scotland's beautiful West Coast. Fantastic sea views of 13 islands with a large garden and adjoining stony beach.

The space
Please note that due to Covid 19 we are following ASSC cleaning protocols and putting extra cleaning measures in place which we will inform you about on booking. The most important one for you to know is that we are asking guests to bring their own bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases , towels, bath mat etc.


A spacious, warm house, right next to the sea, overlooking the Atlantic and the islands of Scarba, Jura, Islay and Colonsay to name but a few. The house is on the no car island of Easdale, a unique island on the West coast of Scotland, miles from the rat race, yet close to the conveniences of the vibrant harbour town of Oban. Served by a small foot ferry in a journey which only takes a couple of minutes, the island has a population of around 80 people. The house is called 'An Lionadh', Gaelic for 'flowing tide' and is located on the Western shore of the island and its views have been described as 'the best views on the West Coast'. Built by the Laird of the island the house sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, is large enough for 2 families to share comfortably and enjoys all the home comforts you would need. There are also a couple of camp beds for your use by prior arrangement. Offers available for small groups/couples outwith school holidays, pets welcome.

The West Coast of Scotland is highly regarded as one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world. The pristine waters, largely untouched land, varied wildlife and stunning mountains as well as the friendly people make this area a must visit destination! The area around Easdale island is no exception - the marine life is stunning with regular visits from basking sharks, minke whales, bottlenose dolphins and otters all of which have been spotted from An Lionadh. Boat trips available from the ferry slip. The island is of significant historical significance in its own right, having been of major importance in the slate mining industry in the 1900s and the remaining sea filled quarries are now a haven for wildlife.

We run a small holiday property rental business known as 'Braw Holidays' on the West Coast of Scotland, renting self catering properties on the Isle of Mull, Easdale Island and Edinburgh as well as hiring out Camper Vans on Mull.
