The Gallery, converted in 2021, is a large self contained private space within a barn conversion. The open plan living/dining room has a high ceiling with plenty of light and a small kitchen. Stairs lead up to the bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over the bath. The twin room has a quirky low doorway under a beam and the double room is lit by a skylight. Free onsite parking. The River Orwell is a short walk away, with ready access to walks and watersports, and great eateries.

The space
The Gallery is an open plan living space within an old timber barn, located in a quiet Suffolk village within easy reach of Ipswich, Harwich and Felixstowe. An ideal base for exploring Constable Country and its glorious rivers and countryside. Outdoor hardstanding with picnic bench and firepit. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher.

Excellent pub/restaurants at Loch and Quay (at MDL Marina), The Boot (at Freston), Butt and Oyster (at Pin Mill) and Red Lion (at Chelmondiston). The Ganges Museum of Naval Training Centre and foot ferry to Harwich and Felixstowe are at Shotley. At Alton Water you have cycle hire, bird watching, water sports. Local shops in Chelmondiston and Holbrook or big supermarkets in Ipswich 15 minutes away.
